Speech and language evaluations provide a comprehensive analysis of an individual’s communication skills to determine if intervention is needed. We offer initial evaluations and re-evaluations to diagnose a range of communication disorders, including speech sound disorders, language delays and disorders, fluency disorders (e.g., stuttering, cluttering), and social communication challenges. Each evaluation is tailored to the client’s concerns and history, using a combination of case review, observation, standardized and informal assessments, and direct interaction. Following the evaluation, we review the results, offer recommendations, and provide a detailed written report to guide a personalized treatment plan.
Feeding evaluations are used to assess feeding and swallowing difficulties and identify the factors contributing to them. These may include oral-motor function, medical or nutritional concerns, sensory processing differences, and behavioral responses to eating. The evaluation includes a review of medical and developmental history, current eating patterns, and a mealtime observation. An oral-motor exam is also conducted to assess strength, coordination, and swallowing function. After the evaluation, we review the findings and provide individualized treatment recommendations.
We offer personalized speech and language therapy to support a range of areas, including articulation, language, fluency, motor speech, social communication, and more. Sessions are engaging, evidence-based, and tailored to each individual’s needs, with active involvement and support for families. Home practice is encouraged to help reinforce progress and carry skills into everyday life.

Our child was referred by her Orthodontist to Northeast Speech and Language Services. We have had such a positive experience with sessions with Christine. My child looks forward to her visits and Christine is very informative. The option for my child to do her visits via Zoom makes it less stressful on our child . I highly recommend her services. It has benefited our daughter tremendously.
My son is going for speech therapy here for almost over 1.5 years now and we are very happy with the service. My son loves going to speech therapy and looks forward to it. We have seen immense progress with his speech since we started therapy. Moreover, Christine is very responsive with any insurance and admin issues. I highly recommend Northeast Speech and Language.
Northeast Speech and Language Service provides the best care and support for communication, language, pragmatics and feeding! Christine and Brittney are personable and flexible with our time for scheduling. Christine has an amazing energy and connected with my son the very first session. She took her time and engaged my son, who struggles with social difficulties associated with ADHD. If you want to have them learn in a fun setting, this is the place! Recommend 10/10!
My son started seeing Christine when I noticed he wasn't speaking much around the time he turned two. Thanks to her expertise, kindness, and patience, my son, now four, uses every surface as his "stage" and never stops talking. I cannot say enough positive things about her. If your child needs speed therapy, this is certainly the practice for you.
